Myths About Marketing LDS Art

Before we go into specifics on what you will be doing to market your artwork online let's talk about some of the myths that we will need to overcome.

Myth #1

Nobody will buy my artwork unless they can see it in person.

Fact: People buy artwork online all the time, there are lots of people that will buy your artwork, without seeing it first in person, a small image is often enough. The internet is probably one of the best ways to market your art because you can show your people your artwork who might not otherwise see it. 

Myth #2

I have to have a website in order to marketing my artwork

Fact: We will discuss selling your artwork on eBay, Etsy and Amazon all of which don't require a website. Eventually you will want to have a website and that is important, however, getting started with non-website methods help you build a reserve of funds to fund your website.

Myth #3

I will need to hire my 13 year old son's friend to build my website for me.

There are so many options for building websites that you will be able to do it on your own and we can show you how, this website was created using Shopify. No need to ask your kids friends to do it for you, this can all be done from home.
